Clubs in the Verde Valley

American Legion Post #25 meets at 480 S Calvary Way in Cottonwood. Its own site lists post officers, an auxiliary, a SAL unit, and a riders group, along with flag information and a banquet hall available for use. A calendar carries the general meeting and weekly bingo on Thursday evenings, and a monthly newsletter is posted with back issues available from the webmaster. Camp Verde Arena Association runs the town's equestrian center at 1495 East Hideout Arena Way. It sells memberships, rents horse stalls and keeps a calendar of events at the arena. Rodeos and other riding events are held here through the year. People from Camp Verde and Cottonwood take part. Call to ask what a membership includes, what stalls cost by the night or the month, and which dates are already booked. Event dates move, so check before driving out to watch.

The Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce keeps a business directory and event listings for the town, and sells advertising to member businesses. Its address is 3640 South Octillo Lane in Camp Verde. Owners should call to ask what membership costs, what a listing includes and how events get added. Visitors can use the same site to see what is open in town, though listings are member based rather than complete.

Eyesight is the focus of the Cottonwood Lions Club, which its own site says has served the town since 1950. Money raised, for years through recycling aluminum cans, pays for eye exams and eyeglasses for people who cannot afford them, and the club now runs a free clinic housed at the Old Town Mission. Used eyeglasses are collected at donation sites around town, including vision centers, a bank, and a church. Members marked the club's 75th anniversary in 2025. Jerome Chamber of Commerce is the business group for the town. Its website lists member businesses by kind, with pages for artisans, places to eat and drink, musicians, services, shops and galleries, and places to stay, plus pages on events, town history and shuttle information. There are also pages to join, pay dues or donate. The only address listed is PO Box K, so there is no counter to walk up to. The Old Town Association is a membership group of business owners and community members in Cottonwood. It puts on events in the Old Town part of town and promotes the shops and restaurants there. Rotary Club of the Verde Valley meets in person on Thursdays at 12:10 p.m. at Calavera Restaurant, 747 S Main St in Cottonwood, and its own site says meetings fall on the first, second, and third Thursday of each month. Verde Valley Wine Consortium is a trade group for wine producers rather than a place to taste. Its own site says the aim is to build the valley's standing as a wine region through winemaking, wine culture, education, and tourism. Pages cover the area's grape-growing designation, quarterly meetings, events, memberships, and, unusually for a trade body, environmental subjects including water and climate. The site also points drivers to a state wine trail license plate whose proceeds support Arizona wineries. this page hold no street address and no phone, only a note that it serves the Verde Valley.

Verde Valley Wine Trail is an organization rather than a bar or a tasting room. Its own site maps the wineries and tasting rooms along the trail, offers a printed passport and a passport app for checking in at each stop, and lists events plus pages on where to eat, stay, and explore nearby. A wine basics section explains the region's grapes and growing. The site also announces an approved Arizona specialty license plate whose proceeds go to state wineries.
