Eyesight is the focus of the Cottonwood Lions Club, which its own site says has served the town since 1950. Money raised, for years through recycling aluminum cans, pays for eye exams and eyeglasses for people who cannot afford them, and the club now runs a free clinic housed at the Old Town Mission.
