Restaurants in the Village of Oak Creek

The Village of Oak Creek, also called Big Park, is an unincorporated community on State Route 179 south of Sedona. Its restaurants sit on that highway or just off it, several of them in Bell Rock Plaza, where you park at the door. For people who live in the Verde Valley this is often the sensible alternative to driving into Sedona. The food is similar, the traffic is lighter, and you won’t hunt for a space.

Expect lunch-onward hours, not breakfast. We hold hours for only two of the eight restaurants on this list, and in those two the earliest opening is 11 AM, the common opening is 11:30 AM, and closings cluster at 9 PM with the latest at 10 PM. For breakfast in this part of the valley, you’ll generally be driving.

Several of the businesses on this page also serve in Sedona or run a second kitchen there, so a name you know from Sedona may have a Village location with a shorter wait.
