Restaurants in Verde Village

Verde Village isn’t a town of its own. It’s an unincorporated area south of Cottonwood, and when it comes to eating out that matters in one practical way. The restaurants are spread along East State Route 89A and the highway junctions instead of sitting together on a street you can walk. You drive to each one.

Hours are the useful part here. Among the Verde Village restaurants with hours on record, the most common opening time is 6 AM and the next is 7 AM. The most common closing time is 11 PM. The earliest opening we have on record is 5 AM. No other town in the valley keeps a daily window that wide. Work an early shift, or get home late? This strip is where somebody is still serving.

Nearly all of the ones we list with recorded hours are open Monday, and most are open Sunday, so the weekday and weekend patterns look about the same.

Old Town Cottonwood is only a few minutes north, and plenty of residents treat the two places as one set of choices. Verde Village for early, late, quick, and parking right out front. Old Town for a sit-down evening. About three quarters of the Verde Village restaurants we list have a website. For the rest, call before you drive out.

Food licensing and inspection is handled by Yavapai County Community Health Services under the 2017 FDA Food Code, same as Cottonwood and Camp Verde.
