Verde Valley wineries and tasting rooms

The Verde Valley is one of Arizona’s three main wine regions. Its wineries and tasting rooms sit in six areas, and each one is a short drive from the others. This guide lists every one we have checked, with hours taken from the winery’s own website and held in our listings. Those hours change with the season and for private events, so look at the listing page, and call ahead if you’re bringing a group.

Page Springs and Cornville

This is where the vineyards are. Page Springs Road follows Oak Creek through Cornville, and three wineries sit right next to each other along it.

• Page Springs Cellars, 1500 N. Page Springs Road. Winery on the creek with a bistro menu. Open 11 AM daily; until 8 PM Thursday through Saturday, 6 PM other days.
• Javelina Leap Vineyard and Winery, 1565 Page Springs Road. Family winery, open 11 AM to 6 PM daily; last pour at 5:30.
• Oak Creek Vineyards and Winery, 1555 Page Springs Road. Open 11 AM to 6 PM weekdays, from 10 AM on weekends.
• Cove Mesa Vineyard, 1210 S. Western Drive, a few minutes off Page Springs Road. Food is served with tastings. Open until 6 PM daily, from 11 AM Friday through Sunday and noon on other days.
• DA Ranch Estate Lodge and Vineyards, 1901 Dancing Apache Road. A ranch and vineyard away from Page Springs Road. Open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 AM to 6 PM. This is not the same business as DA Vines Vineyard and Bistro in Old Town Cottonwood.

Old Town Cottonwood

Cottonwood has seven tasting rooms. Six of them sit within a few flat blocks of North Main Street, and you can park once and walk between those six: Arizona Stronghold, Burning Tree Cellars, Cellar 433, DA Vines Vineyard and Bistro, Rubrix and Tantrum.

The seventh is up the hill on Verde Heights Drive, away from Main Street, so that one is a drive rather than a walk: Caduceus Cellars Hill Top Facility, 760 Verde Heights Drive. Hours for it are not on our record yet. Next door at 770 is Merkin Vineyards Hilltop Winery and Trattoria, which we list as a restaurant rather than a tasting room.

DA Vines Vineyard and Bistro on North Main Street is a different business from DA Ranch Estate Lodge and Vineyards out in Cornville, even though the names look alike.

Clarkdale

• Chateau Tumbleweed, 1151 AZ-89A. A working winery with a dog-friendly patio and charcuterie. Open noon to 7 PM daily. Reservations are suggested for groups.
• Southwest Wine Center, 601 Black Hills Drive, on the Yavapai College Verde Valley campus. Students in the college’s wine program make the wine. Open Friday through Sunday, noon to 6 PM.

Jerome

Six tasting rooms in the old mining town, on Main Street, Hull Avenue and Jerome Avenue. Parking in Jerome is limited. See the town page.

• Caduceus Cellars, 158 Main Street. Pours Caduceus and Merkin wines. Open 11 AM daily; until 7 PM Friday and Saturday, 6 PM other days.
• Passion Cellars, 301 Main Street. One of several tasting rooms this winery runs around Arizona. Open Thursday through Sunday, 11 AM to 6 PM, which is what their website said when we read it. That site did not resolve when we rechecked on 22 September 2026, so call before you go.
• Vino Zona, 369 Main Street. Pours wines from many small Arizona makers. Dogs welcome; no food. Open noon daily; until 7 PM Friday and Saturday, 6 PM other days. Contact is by text only.
• The Original Jerome Winery, 114 Jerome Avenue. Open Thursday through Sunday from noon; until 7 PM Friday and Saturday, 6 PM other days.
• Four Eight Wineworks, 140 Main Street. Hours are not on our record yet; check before you go.
• Cabal Cellars, 417 Hull Avenue. Hours are not on our record yet; check before you go.

Camp Verde

• Alcantara Vineyard and Winery, 3445 S. Grapevine Way, on the river between Cottonwood and Camp Verde. Tasting room and on-site restaurant. Open 11 AM to 5 PM daily.
• Clear Creek Vineyard and Winery, 4053 E. Highway 260, east of town. Outdoor seating by a pond; reservations not required. Open Friday through Sunday, 11 AM to 5 PM.
• Salt Mine Wine, 536 W. Salt Mine Road. Small winery, open Friday through Sunday, noon to 5 PM.

Sedona

Sedona has wine bars rather than vineyards.

• The Art of Wine, Uptown. Arizona and other wines with charcuterie. Open 11 AM daily; until 8 PM Thursday through Saturday, 7 PM other days.
• Vino Zona Sedona, upstairs at Tlaquepaque. Arizona wines only; dogs welcome; no food. Open 11 AM daily, until 6 to 8 PM depending on the day.
• Vino di Sedona, West Sedona. Wine bar and bottle shop with a kitchen. Open 11 AM Tuesday through Saturday and 3 PM Sunday and Monday; until 10 PM Friday and Saturday.

Planning a day

• Best single stretch for a first visit: Page Springs Road. Three wineries in a row on the creek, all open daily.
• Best for walking: Old Town Cottonwood. Park once and leave the car there.
• Weekends only: Southwest Wine Center, Clear Creek, and Salt Mine are Friday through Sunday.
• Tasting fees differ from room to room and are not listed here yet. Ask when you arrive.
• Drive safely. It’s 10 to 25 minutes between the areas, on two-lane roads. Bring a designated driver or book a tour.
