Septic services in the Verde Valley

We list eight septic companies: three in Cornville, two each in Camp Verde and Cottonwood, and one in Jerome.

Plenty of property out here is not on a sewer. Cornville, Rimrock, the edges of Verde Village and the rural lots around Camp Verde all run on septic systems. That’s why this is a real category in a valley this size and not a small corner of one. Six of the eight say they serve more than one town, and the ones based in Cornville are working the area that has the most septic properties in it.

Buying a property? A septic inspection and a pump-out are a normal part of the transaction here, and the timing is often set by the sale rather than by you. Ask what the report covers. You want to know whether it includes a tank location and a leach field assessment, not just a pump.

About licenses. On 20 September 2026 we checked every company on this page against the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and the lookup now works. We matched four of the eight to a license on the state register, and all four are active. The status we show on a listing is what the register said that day. We match a company by its business name, its trading name or its phone number. A company we could not match is not therefore unlicensed. It may be registered under a different legal name, or in another town, or the work may not need a contractor license at all. Where a listing only says “licensed” and gives no number, that is still the company’s own claim on its own website, and not something we confirmed. Before you hire anyone for work of any size, look the license up yourself at roc.az.gov and ask for the number on the phone.
