Roofers in the Verde Valley

We list 20 roofing companies. Ten are based in Cottonwood, three each in Camp Verde and Clarkdale, two in Sedona, and one each in Cornville and Rimrock.

Where a roofer is based matters less than where it works. Fifteen of the 20 work in more than one town by our records, so that Cottonwood count is about where the offices are, not where the trucks go. If you’re in Jerome, Verde Village or Village of Oak Creek and see nothing listed for your town, it doesn’t mean nobody will come. It means nobody is based there. Ask.

Roofing is well documented here. All 20 publish a phone number and a website, and 19 of the 20 publish opening hours as well. That makes it an easy trade to compare before you start calling.

About licenses. On 20 September 2026 we checked every company on this page against the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, and this time the lookup went through. We matched eleven of the 20 to a license on the state register, and the status we show on each listing is what the register said that day. Nine of those eleven are active. The other two are Hale’s Roofing, whose license, ROC 085860, the register lists as a voluntary cancellation rather than an active license, and Fresh Roof of Northern Arizona, whose license the register lists as suspended. Both are worth knowing about before you call, so ask. We match a company by its business name, its trading name or its phone number. A company we could not match is not therefore unlicensed. It may be registered under a different legal name, or in another town, or the work may not need a contractor license at all. Four of the 20 say on their own websites that they are licensed without giving a number, and that is still the company’s own claim, not something we confirmed. Before you hire anyone for work of any size, look the license up yourself at roc.az.gov and ask for the number on the phone.
