Pharmacies in the Verde Valley

We list six pharmacies: two each in Camp Verde and Sedona, and one each in Cottonwood and Verde Village. Three are CVS and three are Walgreens.

Every pharmacy on this list belongs to a national chain. We haven’t verified an independent pharmacy anywhere in the valley. Maybe there isn’t one, or maybe we just haven’t found it. If you know of one, the correction link on any listing comes straight to us.

Five of the nine towns have no pharmacy on this list: Clarkdale, Cornville, Jerome, Rimrock and Village of Oak Creek. For those communities the nearest counter is in Cottonwood, Camp Verde or Sedona. That’s a real problem for anyone picking up a prescription regularly without a car.

Pharmacy counter hours are not store hours. This is the thing most worth knowing here. The counter inside a chain store routinely closes before the store does, and it often shuts for a lunch break when the store stays open. We hold published hours for only two of the six, and where we do, treat them as store hours unless the listing says otherwise. Call the counter before you make a late trip.

Urgent care and after-hours medical help is a separate category here, and a thin one. In this valley the practical answer is usually Cottonwood.
