Restaurants in Jerome

Jerome is a small town on a hillside, and eating there is mostly a parking problem with a meal at the end of it. Nearly half the restaurants we list are on Main Street. Three more are a short walk away on Hill Street, Clark Street and Jerome Avenue, and the walk is steep. We hold no address for the last one.

Sort out parking first. The Town of Jerome charges $5 to park all day in four pay areas: the lower lot by the Sliding Jail, the middle lot off Hull Avenue, the east side of Main Street, and the lot across from the Connor Hotel. Fees are in effect from 10 AM to 4 PM daily. If you hold a disability placard, you park free. There’s still free parking at the large “300 Level” lot on Perkinsville Road and in some Main Street spots near the businesses. A free shuttle runs from the 300 Level lot into town on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. On a busy weekend, that’s the easy answer.

Go earlier than you would somewhere else. Among the Jerome restaurants with hours on record, 11 AM is the most common opening time, and closings cluster at 6, 8 and 9 PM. The latest close we have on record is 9 PM. Every one with recorded hours is open on Sunday, and one of them is closed Monday.
