Public services and government offices in the Verde Valley

We list nine public offices and facilities: five in Sedona, two in Camp Verde, and one each in Jerome and Village of Oak Creek. All nine list a phone number and a website.

The shape of this list is odd, and that’s worth explaining. Five of the nine are Sedona Fire District stations, four of them in Sedona and one in Village of Oak Creek. Two more are Yavapai-Apache Nation offices in Camp Verde, an administration office and a human resources office. Sedona City Hall and the Jerome public parking facility make up the rest. That isn’t a picture of government in the valley. It’s a picture of what we have verified so far.

What’s missing is most of it. Town halls for Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Camp Verde and Jerome, Yavapai County offices, the courts, the sheriff substations and the post offices aren’t on this page yet. We hold records for a number of them that haven’t met our publishing bar.

For anything urgent, don’t use a directory. Emergencies are 911. For a town matter, go by the town’s own website, not ours. We list these offices so you can find a number quickly, not to stand in for the town or the county.
