Art galleries in the Verde Valley

We list nine galleries and arts venues. Six are in Sedona, with one each in Cottonwood, Jerome and Camp Verde. Six publish opening hours, and all nine have a phone number and a website.

Sedona really is the center of this one. Most categories on this site lean toward Cottonwood, because that’s where the valley’s everyday business sits. Galleries are the clearest exception. Sedona has had a working arts economy for decades, and these listings follow that, not our own attention.

Among the Sedona entries is the Sedona Arts Center, which runs classes and exhibitions rather than only selling work. Another is Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, a group of galleries and shops in one place instead of a single room.

Gallery hours move with the season. Six of the nine publish hours. Even so, this is a trade that stays open longer in spring and fall and cuts back in the summer heat and in midwinter. Treat the hours as a guide. If you’re making the trip for one gallery in particular, call ahead.

Jerome’s arts scene is bigger than the single listing here makes it look. More of it trades as studios and shops than as galleries, so it sits under other categories.
