Farmers markets in the Verde Valley

We list six farmers markets: two each in Cottonwood and Sedona, and one each in Camp Verde and Cornville. All six list a phone number.

A market is a morning, not a store. Nearly all of these run one morning a week and are done by early afternoon. Show up at three and you’ll find an empty parking lot. That’s the most common way people waste the trip.

The season matters as much as the hours do. Several of these markets only run part of the year, usually spring through fall, and the closing date moves with the weather and with the growers instead of the calendar. Only three publish hours we could verify, and only four have a website, so this is one of the harder categories to pin down from a desk.

Call before you drive. Where we have a phone number but no published schedule, a call is the reliable answer. Some of these markets have no site of their own, and then the only place the week-to-week vendor list shows up is the market’s own social page. We’ll say so on the listing rather than pretend we verified a schedule we didn’t.

Markets are also the most likely thing on the site to move to a different spot for a holiday weekend or a town event.
