Verde Valley Roaming Vet Services works by house call. No waiting room. That is the answer for an animal that travels badly, for a cat that cannot be got into a carrier without a fight, for multiple animals in one visit, and for end-of-life care at home, which is the thing people most often wish they had known was possible.

VIP Petcare runs a visiting vaccination clinic inside Petsense at 1100 SR-260. That is not a veterinary practice with a relationship and records; it is a periodic clinic for shots and routine preventatives, usually cheaper and usually on set days. Check the schedule before you drive over, because it is not there every day.

What this list does not cover

None of the three tells us it handles emergencies out of hours. Across the whole valley we hold that flag on one practice only, Danza Del Sol in Cornville, and the nearest genuine overnight hospital is likely to be Flagstaff or Prescott.

Sort that out on a quiet afternoon. Ring whichever practice you register with and ask who they refer to after hours, and whether they will see an existing client’s emergency themselves. Write the answer somewhere other than your phone.

Choosing

If you want one practice that knows your animal over years, that is the hospital or the mobile vet, and both keep records. The vaccination clinic is a supplement to that, not a replacement, and a rabies certificate from it is still a valid certificate.
