Restaurants in Cottonwood

Cottonwood has 26 restaurants on record, more than any town in the valley except Sedona, and they fall into two groups. About two thirds of the ones we list sit on North or South Main Street in Old Town, close enough together that you can walk from one to the next. The rest are spread along SR 89A and the side streets near the shopping centers, where you drive and park at the door.

Plan around the clock more than the menu. Of the Cottonwood restaurants where we have hours on record, the most common opening time is 11 AM and the most common closing time is 9 PM. A handful open early for breakfast, the earliest at 5 AM. Only one, a sports bar, serves past 11 PM, and it closes at 2 AM. If you want a late dinner, call first. Fourteen of the twenty with recorded hours are open on Sunday. Seven close Monday instead, and two of those are closed Tuesday as well.

Old Town fills up on weekend evenings, because the tasting rooms on the same blocks draw a crowd. Plenty of residents eat early or book ahead. Every restaurant we list here has a website, so the menu and the current hours are usually one click away on its listing page.

Every place that sells food in Yavapai County has to hold a county food license, and Yavapai County Community Health Services inspects them under the 2017 FDA Food Code.
