Where to stay in Cottonwood

The 8 hotels and motels we list in Cottonwood: independent inns in Old Town, the two chain properties, which ones take dogs, and why we can't tell you a nightly rate.

Cottonwood has 8 places to stay on record. Six are independent motels and inns, and two are national chain properties. We don’t store nightly rates for any of them. Availability and pricing change too often for us to keep current, so call or use the hotel’s own booking page.

In Old Town: the Iron Horse Inn (1034 N Main St) and The Tavern Hotel (904 North Main Street) both sit in Old Town Cottonwood, within walking distance of the shops and restaurants there. The Tavern Hotel builds on that with wine-tasting and dining packages around its own restaurant, The Tavern Grille, plus a welcome cocktail and continental breakfast at Crema Craft Kitchen & Bar. The Iron Horse Inn is simpler. It lists a handful of room types and a booking form, and no amenities beyond that.

Independent motels elsewhere in town: Little Daisy Motel on S. Main Street has been family-run since 1989 and is now on its third generation of resident managers. The View Motel sits on a hilltop with a seasonal pool and spa. Pines Inn & Suites lists the most amenities: a seasonal saltwater pool, free overnight EV charging, and a “certified sustainable and green” claim on its own site. Lux Verde Hotel, just off State Route 89A, advertises a fully remodeled boutique property with complimentary breakfast.

Chain properties: Springhill Suites (Marriott) and Super 8 by Wyndham are both here, but we have less to tell you about either one. Neither listing reached a property-specific page. The sites on file are the brand’s corporate pages rather than this location’s, so we hold no room count, rate, or amenity list for them that we can vouch for. Call the property directly for anything specific, not the brand’s national number.

Traveling with a dog: Little Daisy Motel, Pines Inn & Suites, Super 8, and The Tavern Hotel are marked dog-friendly on their own sites. Pines Inn & Suites says it accepts any dog over 18 months, any size. The other four don’t mention a pet policy either way, so ask before you book if a dog is coming along.
