Wellness in the Verde Valley

We list five wellness businesses: three in Sedona and one each in Camp Verde and Verde Village. All five list a phone number and a website, and three publish opening hours.

Sedona weights this category, and that isn’t an accident. The town has a long association with holistic and alternative practice, and a visitor economy built partly around it. The listings here follow that. Camp Verde adds a dance and fitness studio, and Verde Village adds a holistic practice.

What’s on the list. Yoga and arts practice. Spa treatment. Holistic medicine. These are different things with different training behind them, and the listing will tell you what the business says it does.

A plain note on what a directory listing is. We describe what a business offers, in its own account, checked against its own site. That is not an endorsement. It isn’t a clinical recommendation, and it isn’t a statement that a treatment works. For medical questions, licensed medical providers are listed separately under dentists, urgent care and the other health categories, and your own doctor is the right first call.

Most businesses here work by appointment, so the published hours are the office window rather than what’s actually open to book.

Sedona · Wellness

A yoga studio at 2115 Mountain Road in Sedona. 7 Centers Yoga Arts runs classes, and the studio website is where the current timetable lives, since class times and teachers change from one term to the next. The phone number is (928) 203-4400. Call to ask whether a class suits a beginner, whether mats and props are provided or you should bring your own, and what a single class or a pass costs. Arriving a few minutes early is usual, so you can settle and tell the teacher about any injury before the class starts. Bring water.

Call (928) 499-2619 or send email to ask which classes suit your age and level, what a month costs, and whether you can try a class before signing up.

Verde Village · Wellness

Massage is the service here, run from an address on Broken Rock Dr. Appointments are made by phone at (978) 914-0727, or by email at Holistichealing711@gmail.com. Sunday hours run from 1 to 6 in the afternoon. Other days are not posted, so call to ask what times are open in the week ahead. Clients come from across the valley, including Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Jerome, Cornville, Camp Verde, Rimrock, Village of Oak Creek, and Sedona. Session lengths and rates are not listed, so ask about both when you book. Since this is a small practice, a same day opening is not something to count on.

Sedona · Wellness

Massage is the core of the menu here, with ayurveda treatments, body wraps, facials, acupuncture and nail services alongside it. Namti Spa is at 60 Tortilla Drive in Sedona and is run by Jeff McGrath. Hours are 9 in the morning to 7:30 at night, Monday through Saturday, with Sunday closed. Appointments are the norm for a spa this size, and weekend slots tend to go first. Prices are not posted here, so call (928) 282-7737 to ask what a treatment costs and how long it takes. Say up front if you are pregnant or have an injury, so the therapist can adjust.

Sedona · Wellness

Sedona Holistic Medicine is a clinic in Sedona, at 1350 State Rte 89A #26. The suite number matters, since that address sits in a building with several tenants. The phone number is (928) 862-2914. The map data files it as a clinic, which is all we can say about the kind of care offered. We do not have hours, the names of the providers, what they treat, whether they take insurance, or if they are taking new patients. Those are the things to ask when you call. We list it under wellness, and that grouping is ours, not a credential.
