We list seven off-road tour operators in the valley, six in Sedona and one in
Cottonwood. Every detail here comes from each company’s own website, checked on
the date above.
Seven listings, five companies. Three of the Sedona listings, A Day in the
West, Red Rock Western Jeep Tours and Sedona Offroad Adventures, check in at the
same address on West State Route 89A and publish the same contact email address.
They’re three separate brands with their own names, phone numbers and booking
sites, and we list them separately because that’s how you’ll meet them. But
underneath they’re one company. If you’re calling around for a seat on a busy
weekend, those three calls reach the same operation. Treat them as one and move on
to the others.
The genuinely separate companies are Pink Adventure Tours and Earth Wisdom Tours,
both on North State Route 89A in Uptown Sedona; Arizona Safari Jeep Tours, just
off 89A on Jordan Road; the three-brand operation on the west side; and Northwoods
Powersports Adventures in Cottonwood.
Not everything here is a Jeep. Sedona Offroad Adventures runs Hummers. Pink
Adventure Tours runs open-top Jeep Wranglers. Northwoods in Cottonwood is the odd
one, and the one to read carefully. It rents ATVs and UTVs for you to drive
yourself, and there’s no guide in the vehicle. If you want someone else doing the
driving and the talking, that isn’t the one. If you’d rather be on your own, it’s
the only choice on this page.
Where you start changes your morning. The Uptown companies put you in the
busiest part of Sedona, and parking is what people get wrong there. Pay stations
along 89A want your license plate number, so photograph your plate before you walk
off, or pay through the Passport Parking app using zone 846. There are free lots
in Uptown with posted time limits. The west-side depot on 89A sits away from that

Before you book, two things are worth a phone call instead of a guess. Only
one company on this page publishes its hours on its own site, Arizona Safari Jeep
Tours, open 7am to 6pm daily. For the rest you’re working off tour departure times
and not an office that’s reliably open. Tours here also sell out. Pink Adventure
Tours says so plainly on its own site, and it’s the largest operator of the group.
