The Verde Valley has two markets that run most of the year, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, and a third in Cottonwood that runs on Friday evenings for part of the summer. Both are outdoors, both are free to enter, and both change hours with the season. Here is what we have checked. Markets sometimes cancel for weather or holidays, so look at the market’s own site or the events page before you drive.
Saturday: Verde Valley Farmers Market, Camp Verde
Verde Valley Farmers Market
75 E. Hollamon Street, Camp Verde, next to the Community Center
- Day and hours: Saturday, 8 to 11 AM.
- Season: May 9 through October 3, 2026. It does not run in winter.
- Where exactly: under the ramada next to Fort Verde State Historic Park on Hollamon Street. The Town of Camp Verde calls it the valley’s oldest and largest farmers-only market.
- Parking: the Community Center lot and the street. Neither the town nor the market publishes parking rules, so read the signs.
This is the valley’s main growers’ market. It is a short walk from Fort Verde State Historic Park, which opens at 9 AM, so the two make an easy Saturday morning.
The market is listed in the USDA farmers market directory and its dates appear on the Greater Verde Valley Chamber calendar each week.
Sedona Community Farmers Market

- Day: Sunday, year-round.
- Summer hours: 8 AM to noon, June 7 through October 25, 2026.
- Winter hours: 11 AM to 3 PM, November 1, 2026 through May 30, 2027.
- Parking: the bank lot itself. The market publishes no parking guidance beyond the address, and the businesses either side are not yours to park at.
Because the hours flip in late October and again in June, this is the market people most often get wrong. In summer it is a morning market; in winter it is a midday one.
Other markets and farm stands
Cottonwood has a third market, and it runs differently from the other two. Old Town Music and the Market is put on by the City of Cottonwood Parks and Recreation at the Old Town Activity Park, 187 East Pima Street: growers and homemade goods with regional musicians playing alongside. It has run on Friday evenings, 5 p.m. until dark, and its 2025 season covered May, June and September rather than the whole summer.
We have not been able to confirm the 2026 dates, so treat that pattern as the shape of it rather than a schedule. Its own site is the place to check before you set off.
Beyond that, there is no regular market in Clarkdale, Jerome, Cornville or the Village of Oak Creek that we can confirm for 2026. Neither town site lists one, and the Greater Verde Valley Chamber calendar carries only the Camp Verde market through September 2026. Roadside farm stands along Page Springs Road and Cornville Road come and go with the season; we add them as listings as we confirm them.
What to expect
- Pay: bring some cash for small purchases. Neither market says anywhere public whether it takes SNAP or EBT, or runs Double Up Food Bucks, so if you need that, ask at the info table before you shop rather than after.
- Dogs: neither market publishes a policy. Camp Verde’s is outdoors on public property and Sedona’s is in a private bank lot, which usually makes the Sedona one the stricter of the two. Ask at the info table.
- Weather: Summer monsoon storms usually hit in the afternoon, so morning markets are rarely rained out. Winter markets can be cold and windy in the lot.
- Best time: The first hour. Popular items sell out.
