Where a listing shows a license, the number and the status are what the registry said on that date. We match a company by its business name, by a trading name it also uses, or by its phone number, so the two we could not match are not necessarily unlicensed. A license filed under the owner’s legal name, under an older company name, or with an address in another town will slip past all three, and plenty of landscape work needs no contractor license in the first place, so a company that only mows, trims and tends irrigation may have nothing to file. Three of the five say on their own website that they are licensed, and two of those three are companies we matched. For the third, that is the company’s own word, not a number we looked up and confirmed.

Expect early starts. All five have hours on record. The common start is 8 AM, the earliest is 6 AM, and the usual finish is 5 PM. Four of the five are closed Sunday and two are closed Saturday as well, so weekend work is the exception.

Most of these companies work the whole valley rather than Cornville alone, so being a little out of the way usually isn’t a problem. Confirm your address is covered when you call.
